Easy Squeezy...
I still remember my first lemonade stand. It was the 1980s and I was growing up in Southern California, living in a neighborhood next to lemon tree orchards – a lemonade stand seemed inevitable. My father and I built a bright yellow stand that was shaped like a lemon. I mostly helped by tracking paint onto the garage floor and trying to stay out of the way.
Over the next ten years, my brothers and I sold countless glasses of lemonade at our lemonade stand, learning the importance of location, product, pricing, and marketing.
A few years later, my kids and I built a new version of that same bright yellow, lemon-shaped lemonade stand for them! This being 2020, they have learned to accept electronic payments and we’ve branched out into e-commerce with LemonadeStandGuru.com, and selling our stand plans on Etsy!
